OASES will support Members States in constantly improving the design, methodology, operational tools and the enhancement of health workforce policy capacities related to the challenges of medical deserts.

The project will recommend exact methods and formulas based on the collection of evidence in combating desertification in Europe, and summarize various actions on the ways of mitigating medical deserts.

The project will recommend possible changes in the legal and policy environment, and ways to provide incentives to remove legal and further barriers to the recruitment and retention of healthcare workforce in underserved areas.
